In todays lesson we had a meeting in costa which we discussed about screenreels and we had to go around and ask and answer questions about the screenreels. we went around I Orpington and looked in shops suchh as:
Boots
Sony Shop
Post Office
The questions were:
Where is it?
Who is it aimed at?
What does it show?
Does it have sound?
What health and saftey issues might need to be adressed here?
The task was ok but the weather was terrible.

Thursday 26th March
In todays lesson i researched more work, priniting off pictures like DC, Mavel and Tank girl. I was finishing off my comic which i really enjoyed. i learned alot from comics like Tank Girl as the comic had a diversity and they werent just boring comics.

in todays lesson i started to feel up my book with research. priniting off pictures like superman, the dare devil, poision ivy, mystique ans x-men evolution. Also in was inspired by comics like DC, Marvel and Tank Girl.
Tuesday 31stApril
in todays lesson i started to bring my comic to life by colouring it in. I wrote down a few things in my comic explaining why i wanted my comic to look more versatile and not boring for the readers and how i got my inspiration from doing that. The inspiration came from the comic Tank Girl, which is a very bold, bright and eye-catching comic.
Wednesday 1st April
In todays lesson i wrote up my review for this project. once i knew what i was doing, i found it quite easy to write up. i talked about what i have learned from this object, how successful my comic had turned out, what skills i used during my project, how well it was organised, mu objectives and how well it went overall. Overall i think my project went really well. i produced enough background research and i used diversity in my comic. i am proud of what i have achieved and i definatley worked to the best of my ability.

In todays lesson i gathered all my final work together ready to be marked. As i was finished i descided to draw a picture on paint, of a DJ called DJ Boom and people dancing having a party.

The Final Frame
In todays lesson i was given a big sketch book to start on my final comic strip. i descided that because it was a big sketch book instead of doing a tiny comic strip i could have the whole sketch book as my comic. I drew up my first picture which was of my superhero Selina Silvers(Scalia)...which was on my first page. Then i printed out all the work from my computer which was in relation to my project. why did i choose to do scalia, did i enjoy drawing her....

Research&Sketching
In todays lesson i looked through some comics books for some inspiration, then i did a rough sketch of what my comic strip would look like.

1 Scalia balancing on high building, bulidings in background, night time.

Planning out my Storyboard and Research
Tuesday 24th Feb....
In todays lesson we were told to start planning out our projects. i started to write down what every one of my frames would look like. focusing on the setting, the people and the frame shots. I have quite a clear idea of my characters and the storyline. once i know how i want each frame to look like it will be easy to rough sketch my drawings how i want them.
Thursday 12th Feb....
In todays lesson we were told do some research on our own projects .. i had chosen to sketch out an animated comic strip based on superheros. I went onto google and typed in marvel and DC Comics(into images)which are both comic books based on superheros. I then scrolled through the pictures, seeing which ones i liked and to see if i could gain any ideas for my project. I then found a few photos which i copyed and pasted onto my power point presentation. I then went onto youtube which is a website where you can watch or share video's with anyone around the world. I descided to look up some superhero trailors, such as:
Superman
X-Men
Fantastic four
The Hulk
etc............
Once looking at the trailors, i picked which ones were more suitable. i copyed and pasted the web adress onto power point and also print screened the video trailors onto power point too. I needed to find research on how,where,when comics were released. I found out quite alot of information and the name of the first man who created the very first comic. I found reading about it was quite interesting and it inspired me to want to produce a really good comic strip to the best of my ability.

Tuesday
In todays lesson we had our production meeting which we discussed about the planning for the website. First of all we given questions to write down for our production plan:
Production Plan
*How are you going to create your content?
*What recources will you need to create your idea?
*What production processes are you going to use?
*How will you approach Health&Saftey issues?
*What do you attend to do and when?
*Create a time-line.
We also discussed about what roles we were going to take on for the task.

Last of all we wrote down the things we need for the trip:

I think the Production meeting went really well and everybody contributed to the discussion.
Wednesday
In todays lesson we had a production meeting which we discussed about how we had to be in at 9.00,tomorrow and make sure we have:
5 Digital Cameras
Manual Cameras must have film/Batteries
Video Camera
Microphone, The boom
and that Jade is doing the interview which terry wrote out.
We also were told that we need to start commenting on eachothers blogs and write 2 good comments and 1 comment which they can improve on.
I thought todays production meeting went quite well. The production meetings go mostly well as everybody has something to contribute to the discussion.
Thursday
Today was the trip to Orpingtion Station. We all had to meet in college at 9.00 so that we could leave early and be at orpington station on time. We all had to make sure we had all the right equitment, such as:
Boom
Matanz
Digital Camera
SLR Camera
Extra Batteries
As a team we all helped out by carrying some of the equitment. We then took a bus to Orpington Station. When we arrived we went into the staff room and discussed which roles we were given for this job. My role was photography, where i had to take pictures of the staff at work and pictures for their profiles on the site, Mark helped me some of the pictures. I took pictures of the staff, working in the room, naturally. I also took a picture of the teacher at work. I volantered to help out with the filming with Terry, which we filmed the employees in class with their teacher at work. I enjoyed taking pictures and had fun with. The staff and employees were really funny and the trip was a good experience. I thought i took a good variety of pictures, enough to put onto the website. Overall the project went really well and i have gotten enough pictures and footage for the website.
We then went back to college and uploaded all the pictures, ready to put onto the website.

using dreamweaver
in todays lesson we started using dreamweaver which is website designing programme. We had to open a blank document. Then to change the background or text to any colour you want, you would have to click modify which is on top of the screen then go to page properties. I changed my background colour to purple and text to white. then we had to insert the table. 5rows 5 collums. Then the width 100 percent. once the table is on the document we wrote down 'table 1' Then the row we row we inserted a picture. i chose to put 'little miss giggles'. Then i wrote a bit about it. Then we learnt how to do links. which you press on the picture press link then browse and it will take you to the document you want, press ok, save the previous document and then view it in firefox.
